The safeguarding of our clients’ cargo is of paramount importance to us. At Skankane Transport we have developed and implemented a practical, yet effective, cargo safety strategy to ensure your load is always safe. This strategy includes the use of pole pockets to secure stacked bulk loads, using straps, ratchets and rope to secure cargo and utilising 8 Ton chains and satans if the type of load demands it.
Other cargo safety methods we practice are:
Cargo nets and corner plates to protect cargo against general damages;
Tarpaulins and curtain rails to protect cargo against harsh weather conditions;
Container and twist locks to secure containers and load locks to secure break bulk cargo
